Someone in PR at Microsoft will see that bio in 10... 9...

Too little too late.

True, its got a totally apologetic tone to it! "We have changed, please forgive us and write code with us. Please!" That's what it sounds like.

Currently:

    Microsoft has changed as a company
    and is becoming more open in the way
    that we collaborate with others.

Will it change?

Those of us that remember what they tried to do to Linux will take a bit more convincing.

Also, that's not an apology.

Also, writing your own headline to imply that it is doesn't magically make it so.
