Selling a used car is painful - you meet strangers during your free time, and then are frustrated when they make lowball offers. But if you trade your car in, the dealer will offer you up to 40% less than the car is worth. Carlypso is a service which finds a seller the most profitable channel for selling the car and removes as much pain from the process as possible: advertising a car, coordinating test drives and negotiating with buyers. As a young startup Carlypso is building on a rapidly evolving MEAN stack application to manage both car and customer data.

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work on an autonomous inventory management system built with NodeJS, Django and WebDriver technologies, which manages ads for all vehicles in the Carlypso inventory. The server is responsible for posting ads, tracking the ad health and keeping the inventory of live ads in sync with an evolving CRM. Scripting skills will be necessary for posting to various media, while knowledge of computer systems will help to develop a cohesive autonomous ad management system through the use of web services and worker processes.

Skills and Experience:

0-2 years Experience with scripting languages - (Python and/or Javascript preferred) Knowledge of web services and REST APIs Knowledge of End-to-End testing - preferably Selenium / WebDriver / PhantomJS Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools Experience with other languages (e.g. C++, Java/C#, Python) a plus Easygoing personality and good communication skills desired Fresh ideas and a desire to learn

Education:

MS or BS in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
