Ask HN: How to find a Manufacturer?

I'm a software engineer who is trying to find a manufacturer of game pieces for a Kickstarter project. The pieces are fairly simple, some acrylic with some printing. Unfortunately I know basically nothing about this type of manufacturing.

Is there anyone who has gone through this process that can give me a couple pointers on how to proceed?
