This is getting worse than "First Post!"

I'm getting really tired of clicking on the comments for Hacker News stories and seeing the first being:

1. A complaint about the form or presentation of the original article.

2. A whine that "this sort of thing isn't news for hackers."

Or, most egregiously:

3. A plea for people to be nice to each other on the internet, unlike that mean article author.

There's something about the HN moderation system that sends that sort of thing right to the top and it's degrading discussion.
