Ask HN: Is medium.com gaming HN

I've noticed more and more articles from medium.com appearing on Hacker News lately. Now, there are 5 on the first three pages of HN (90 items). Seems very high to me. The articles are targeted towards the HN crowd, but are usually very shallow. In other words, link bait. Has anyone else noticed this?
