Zen99 provides independent contractors access to the same help that employees get from an HR department. Things like figuring out how much to save for taxes, or getting health insurance. (Problems that we know resonate with you, if you’ve ever done contract work!)

We’re looking for a Senior Rails Engineer to build exciting features we have in our product pipeline. We’re a small team, so you’ll get lots of ownership and good startup experience.

We’re looking for someone to join the team who has at least 3 years of full stack experience, and ideally has worked at a startup before.

Some important things we’re looking for:

At least 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails

A passion for building great things

Strong Javascript skills

Experience with Angular or an interest in learning it

Experience with Git version control

Other skills we’d love to see:

Objective C / Swift / iOS experience

Android / Java experience

Experience with a modern front end javascript framework

We believe in passion and curiosity over degrees or algorithmic aptitude!
