Straight-up spam.

Reddit's /r/fitness, its FAQ, Starting Strength, and The New Rules of Lifting (men or women) are a damned good start.

How is this spam? Hacker News caters to start-up entrepreneurs and programmers, my core audience.
And if 'your audience' were at a funeral, would it be OK to advertise to them there?

This is not the forum for advertisements.

Well I guess when you look at it that way, it makes sense. Sometimes it helps to have a swift kick in the ass :)
Not to worry! Just write it as a request for input or feedback - this is all about startups.
The link itself doesn't provide the information but is a sales pitch for where to get it. As opposed to the forum and FAQ I'd linked above.

The problem with fitness is that there are no secrets. The basic knowledge is quite simple. But a whole mess of people want to get in on the game. What's actually kind of funny is how little the basic formula for a "become a real man" (or woman) fitness text has changed since Eugen Sandow's first popular modern text in the 19th century.
