Ask HN: Was my submission deleted? Was on front page, then was gone

Strange thing just happened - About an hour ago I submitted a link to a friend's brother's project that he released tonight:

The post had a few upvotes and was at about #7 on the frontpage, when all of the sudden I refreshed the page and it was gone! Not [dead], not on the second or third page, just gone. However, it remains in the 'new' section. Has anyone experience anything like this in the past? Was it killed for some reason?
