Skills & Requirements

About the position At Maluuba, you’d be working to develop cool futuristic prototypes. Such devices include mobile phones (our apps are in the Google Play Store and Windows Store), watches, glasses, infotainment systems, and more. A watch can do so much more than tell time, seeing glasses can act as a voice enabled heads up display, the sky is the limit.

Our ideal candidate has experience with one or more of the following: android development, working with APIs, cloud-based systems, and hardware hacking. You should be prepared to design systems and write and test code that is ready to be shipped to millions of users.

Qualifications: • BA/ BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience • Required: Java. Nice to have: Python/Ruby/SQL • Android development experience. • Experience with distributed/large-scale/cloud/big-data systems • Knowledge of low latency/high volume APIs
