Looking for Remote Ruby/Rails or Python Work

I'm a mid-20s long-time HN lurker, looking for remote work with Ruby or Python, or anything else you want me to learn. I've worked in startups and small companies, and recently completed some projects alone.

I miss working in a team, and I'd really love to have experienced engineers to build a long-term mentoring relationship with (I don't need hand-holding, but I appreciate mentoring). I am always, always looking to improve.

I'm also just a good person to have on a team -- I bring a positive, creative, can-do attitude with me, and it tends to spread to other team members. Ask any of my previous employers or team-members!

Experience: Languages: Python, Ruby, Clojure, Javascript. Front-end Tech.

Tools: Rails, Flask, some node.js.

OS: My first computer career was Linux/BSD system administration. I love Unix-like operating systems. I'm also a strong supporter of puppet/chef/etc. for automation.

Other skills: I was a student of marketing and sales for a long time, and really enjoyed copywriting. Some machine learning (mostly bayesian). Some Natural Language Processing.

Just Finished: -Weather-station portal. It uses Python, Flask, sqlite (and in the new version, mongoDB), and a bunch of shell scripting to automate remote weather stations and tie them together with a central server featuring publically available data (pictures!) from those stations. A quick overview:

A small board running linux (cubieboard) automates the weather station, taking pictures and gathering data from sensors, then sending it back to the server (using curl). The server displays data from different stations. There is also an admin backend, basic upvoting functionality, and AJAX to load more data into the front-end intelligently. Stations are adminned over an OpenVPN tunnel.

Cool Stuff I've Done: -Linux Sysadmin Tutorials youtube channel (tutorialinux) -Wrote a basic system of integer arithmetic in Lisp -Lisp in Python -Worked through The Little Schemer
