Flexport is hiring a senior back-end engineer

Flexport is a platform for global trade. Our web app gives companies of all sizes the tools to conduct global trade without regard for geographic distance, logistical complexity or regulatory barriers.

Our mission is to bring the world free trade through technology.

We’ve reached product-market fit, with almost 1,000 businesses signed up to use our platform to manage their imports. We're generating real revenues, growing fast, and getting ready to scale the business. And we've raised over $4M from First Round Capital, Bloomberg BETA, Google Ventures and many other great investors.

We are now building out the core of our engineering team here in San Francisco. This role is for our back-end lead (engineer #5) who will report to our CTO, Amos Elliston, who previously co-founded Geni (sold to MyHeritage), where he built and spun out Yammer (sold to Microsoft).
