FCC Chair Genachowski declares himself Top Cop of the Internet (reason.com)

A Washington power grab at its finest. The FCC has announced that it, and it alone, is ruler of the internet, although of course the announcement was couched in terms of "openness". It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the courts against First Amendment issues, when they finally collide, as they will.
