Ask HN: what do you think of the "can't see points on replies" feature?

It looks like there's a new feature: you can't see points on replies.

This is an interesting experiment - it probably removes some group-think, because folks are less inclined to judge a reply based on how others have ALREADY judged it.

...and, yet, I find myself bugged by the fact that information is being hidden from me.

What do others think?
