If people have any examples of hackers finding a security hole in a network and reporting it to the company. Then one of the following happens: 1 - The company does nothing and the hacker publicly shames them for their competence. 2 - The hacker sales the information on to someone who uses it for money gaines. 3 - The hacker uses the information to damage the company and gain information.

Other scenarios I am looking for is when a company has been breached but no data has been damaged and when data has been damaged.

and Spear phishing and phishing.
