That's a nice ROI.

Anybody interested in a nice two letter domain for a fraction of that ;) ?

what do you have?

edit: oh, ya ww.com! How on earth did you pick that up? I thought two letter .coms were reserved.

I paid a boatload of money for it. It's actually a funny story because 'weight watchers' wanted it too and I was just a bit quicker. They had to have a few meetings to get the deal done and the seller was under quite a bit of pressure, I was ready cash in hand so I got it.

One letter domains are, two letter domains are just like any other.

has the domain made a difference to your website?

can I have p@ww.com?

It basically generates a continuous stream of new people to the site that we can sell to. When we bought it camarades.com was on the way out, ww.com was launched first as a generalized webcam search engine, then we merged the 'corpse' of camarades.com and ww.com together and blew new life in to it. It has made some serious money since then. But I am kind of tired of the whole webcam thing.

Sure you can have p@ww.com, but please note two things:

- if the domain ever sells I can't guarantee that the buyer would let you keep that address

- you need a good spam filter because short emails are used plenty of time for people in 'bugmenot' situations

Where do you want the mail forwarded to ?

pinged you an email (my email is peter /at] broadersheet.com - if you could forward it there?) also be good to connect via email anyway :)
What a nice gesture.

You could try monetizing the domain name that way. Branded emails. Or even sell the sub domain, w.ww.com, for big bucks.

you should go through a list of companies with WW in them and start pitching them to buy your company + domain. Get them to do an auction to drive up the price

   Weight Watchers
   WW Grainger, Inc
   William Wrigley Jr. Company
   Watson Wyatt Worldwide
   W_____ W____ _________
This first part is pretty obvious, I have a long list of such names, but I'm not sure how to go about an actual sale, the auction sounds like a good idea, thank you!
Look for the email I just sent you if you're interested in trying to get it auctioned off.
Could you tell me too, please? A friend of mine has asked me to help him sell a three character .com domain name and I don't know how. What do you think it would go for?
I know that Moniker does this exact kind of auctions. You could just start at http://domainauctions.moniker.com/how_to_sell and try to find them through their website. Or email my user name at gmail.com and I can ask internally (they are owned by the same company that owns my employer) for who you can get in contact with there behind the scenes. Of course I may be told that people are supposed to go through the website, though that is less likely if the domain name is a really good one. :-)
