I'm not sure what's more egregious, Pepsi's app, or PCMag's ads.
Which ones? The one for Welch's grape juice or the HP add where the printer mysteriously grows a hand and reaches into a man's pocket?
What sort of ads did you get? I just saw computer hardware, software, and accessories.
It's obviously a joke. If she thinks men would actually use that, well I'll just say maybe the aspartame in that Diet Coke has gotten to her brain.

The really disappointing thing here is that I don't doubt for a second that there are horrible, horrible iPhone apps for men centered around dating. And this author found... this kinda lame one to complain about. Put a little work in!
I thought "sexism" referred to using sex as a factor in a decision in a domain where it ought not to be used (such as most employment situations).

This is just bad taste.

And I have no idea what it has to do with Pepsi branding.
