What tools do you use to create your personal/company website?

Hi, I am a developer, who just moved from full-time employment to freelancing, so I would like to create my personal website. Unfortunately my technical profile was always backend (SOA, BPM, webservices etc.) so I have little knowledge of current technologies and trends for web development. Could you advise me what languages/frameworks to use to build my website?
