Citus Data Is Hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer

Citus Data is looking for a forward-deployed engineer for our growing team. As a forward-deployed engineer, you will represent Citus Data while interacting with customers, understand their requirements, and perform proof-of-concepts (POC's) to demonstrate Citus Data's value. You will drive customer engagement all the way to implementation, and be able to solve technically challenging and unique issues for each customer. You are motivated by, and dedicated to customer success.

Responsibilities:

- Interact directly with customers, understand their requirements, and deliver Proof of Concepts

- Assist with, and perform implementations on the customer side.

- Lead and respond to complex customer requests.

- Assist and help post-sales customers with issues and technical questions.

- Work directly with sales and product teams to understand and drive sales strategy.

- Channel customer feedback back to product teams.

Requirements:

- B.S or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent degree / experience).

- Solid knowledge of one of the following languages (C, C++, or Java).

- Solid knowledge of a scripting language (Perl, Python, or Ruby).

- Be willing to travel frequently and handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time.
