Ask HN: Anyone want to be a machine learning mentor (paid/unpaid)

Hey guys! I've become absolutely fascinated by machine learning and related algorithms. Unfortunately it's very hard for me to learn by myself. Especially when all I can do is watch a bunch of course videos, or try to understand academic papers, that seem way over my head! I'm a developer by trade and have always learned best by hacking away at problems, and learning with other people!
