Ask HN: Can you tell the weather from your reputation?

Looking at my reputation graph on StackExchange I noticed the ascent angle is steeper during winter months, when an evening in is more tempting. If this is true for others also, given a sufficiently large group of users in a similar region, would you be able to determine what their weather had been like from their combined reputation growth. Alternatively, could you figure out the group's location by examining their reputation growth and comparing to weather data.
