Ask HN: What is the value of emotions?
What would you do if you knew what people were feeling when interacting with you or your products and services?
Background: I'm a first time entrepreneur who's built a little piece of tech that measures emotions and links those emotions to behaviours (likes, sharing, commenting etc). We use a webcam to capture facial expressions (opt-in) and data science to link behaviours so we can put emotions in context for people.
The ask: I'd love your thoughts on how you would apply this type of technology as we've been approached by many industries and could use a hand focusing our efforts?
