Ask HN: Free or Cheap NYC Co-Work Spaces for This Week?

I’ll be popping by NYC this week since I had a commute pass that was about to expire. However the Canadian dollar isn’t fairing too well so I want to minimize my CAD->USD transactions.

I’ll be staying at a friend’s place but wouldn’t mind working out of an actual office during the day. Any suggestions in that department that are free or less than $20 a day? Worst case is I work from home, library or coffeeshop, but I wouldn’t mind working from a different space.
