Poll: Do you have an LLC (or other business entity) for your side projects?
I have traditionally run my side projects as a sole-proprietorship, but it appears that an LLC provides some legal protection in case the business gets sued, etc.<p>For those of you with LLC's, why, and how did you go about creating it?

[ 0.25 ms ] story [ 11.9 ms ] threadI formed it originally to provide a (thin) layer of "protection" when I started a local "newspaper" aimed at exposing some unethical things that local officials/politicians were doing.
Later, it served as a nice, easy way to keep my hobbies and side-projects-that-generate-revenue somewhat separated.
