Ask HN: Any need for a better appointment scheduling API?

I recently worked on a project that required a full API for appointment scheduling and had a hard time finding any. Most solutions offered only widgets or minimal APIs. What does everyone use? I'm interested in building my own but was wondering if anyone else has a need for this.
