My partner is F-ing insane, what do I do?

So, to be nice, my guy sees himself as the American Alan Moore. Anti-Capitalist, anti-everything fun and/or profitable. We are hip-deep though. How do I cut him loose without resulting in a gamma-explosion? No actual signed contracts thus far. But still. I've known him for years, so, awkwardness.
