Ask HN: Nepal Earthquake Perdictions

With regards to the devastating earthquake in Nepal, what are your thoughts on earthquake events in the next few weeks or months. I am told that there is a 54% chance of a magnitude 6 quake and 7% chance for a greater than 7 magnitude quake within a week. These numbers come from a USGS spokesperson who is currently in Nepal.
