Best Keyboard for fast, effortless touch?

Shouldn't coding/typing be like driving a car? The physical job should be fun. It is not! What happened to the old selectrics? I want one hooked up to my computer. Failing that, what is your favorite keyboard for a light touch? The lighter the better for speed: 2.5oz is typical and 1.0oz is sort of ok...
