Ask HN: Have you defaulted on student loans? I'm about to, adviced needed.

Dear HN,

I am a recent graduate in my late twenties and am struggling to find a job. I have been applying for jobs non stop but seem to have trouble getting past the first screener.

It looks like I am going to default on my student loans when they come out of their grace period in a few months. I have already used all my unemployment deferment extensions and other grace periods.

Has anyone else on HN been in a similar situation or had to default on their loans? Any advice would be appreciated.
