Poll: What matters to you most?

While I voted for Family in the poll as given, what matters to me most, is to produce something of value to society during my lifetime, that will still be in use long after I am gone.

It's not at all hard to be remembered for doing something bad.

It's far far more difficult to be remembered for doing something good.

Apparently Musk denies having said that; I can't say either way, but were an employer to say something like that to me, I'd just pack my stuff up then walk right off the job.

I did that once before, but it was over an issue of engineering ethics at an industrial control systems vendor.
