[Ask HN] Should bosses force people to communicate?
I'm not a verbose type of guy, I'm more of a reserved geek, in my job as a programmer, my boss keeps forcing me to report via email, text and phone _everything_ that is happening to me, and it greatly affected my productivity, because I have more effort on communicating with him than spending time on my work and improving my code.
Is this type of communication any good?
