Looks very nice, although I'd like to see one in person. It's a shame it isn't mechanical however, or at least that there isn't a mechanical option - especially as there are lots of good quality, affordable Japanese mechanical watch movements (e.g. Miyota) that could be used.

Would be interested in hearing more about how it will be made (and where it will be made). Always interested in hearing about the stories and manufacturing techniques behind watches, especially those made by independent watchmakers.

It's a shame this will only be available in the EU in the beginning.
