Programming bootcamp hiring full-stack Python/Django instructor in NYC

Here at Byte Academy aka the first FinTech programming bootcamp we believe anyone who wants to learn, can learn to code. We've developed a rigorous curriculum that immerses our students starting day 1 through lectures, coding exercises, and other learning materials. We're seeking an additional instructor for our upcoming cohorts. You'll have a very exciting job: teaching the next generation of very excited web developers! Your days will be spent lecturing on web development topics, helping students with projects, and providing guidance on breaking into the industry.

Desired Skills and Experience Technical background (i.e. prior boot camp student, B.S. in Computer Science or related field) A passion for teaching (prior teaching job is a plus) Proficiency in Python Comprehensive understanding of building web 3.0 applications Self-Motivated, enjoys a “start-up” atmosphere Passionate about programming Able to learn new concepts quickly Effective, enthusiastic communicator Basic knowledge of finance is preferred
