Does this have any practical uses?
Instead of storing the coordinates for the object mesh, store the "address" in 4d space of the Julia representation?
For 2D images, fractals can be used for image compression. I don't know if any of the popular image compression algorithms use this method.
Practical implies you value some objectives over others. What would those be?
