His comments aren't any more inflammatory than any other politician. I'm not even saying that he's right, it just so happens to go against the left-leaning agenda of the major news media, which is why they want his reputation destroyed.
Political advocates like Al Sharpton can say the most horrific and racist shit I have ever heard, yet doesn't even get into trouble with anyone. In fact, things have only gotten better for him in terms of media attention.
