POMELLO OVERVIEW: Pomello (www.pomello.com) is a rapidly growing, well funded, predictive HR analytics company. We deliver organizational culture measurement and applicant screening software, helping companies hire better and reduce turnover. Our technology was developed in partnership with Stanford professor Dr. Charles O'Reilly, a leader in the field of organizational behavior and culture for over 30 years. THE ROLE: 1st Full-Time Engineer -- You will take the technical lead on Pomello. You have experience engineering enterprise applications, and are ready to build a product from the ground up without the bureaucracy of a large company. Initially, you will be a full-stack engineer with a lot of hands-on building. As the team grows, the opportunity will exist to take on more team-building responsibilities. You will influence every aspect of the product from ideation to execution. We value team members who are able to make strategic decisions quickly balancing development speed with risk. We are looking for consistent progress towards long-term goals, and the ability to get comfortable with rapidly changing priorities. We do not have the right answers to everything and we want you to experiment.

HERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WORK ON: Enhanced Analytics/Data Visualization--Make predictive analytics easily understandable and actionable. Communications and Data Capture--Develop seamless integrations and increase engagement with easy to use communications that deliver feedback into our analytics. Incorporation of Unstructured Data into Predictive Algorithms--Identify and make sense of unstructured datasets that will increase our value proposition to customers.

REQUIREMENTS: 3 Years of full-stack development experience Significant experience with Ruby Significant experience with mySQL Proficient in HTML/CSS/Javascript/JQuery
