Ask HN: Python vs Julia vs R: Speed/accuracy of ML Algorithms

I am trying to figure out the speed and accuracy of Python Vs Julia vs R for various Machine Learning libraries. I am intrigued with Julia and would like to know how it compares against scikit-learn and R's libraries.

Some of the algorithms for which I would want to know the benchmarks are:

1) xgboost 2) Random Forest 3) Deep Learning (Convolution Neural Networks) 4) L1/L2 Logistic Regression
