I think Cuban's reason is shared by a lot of Americans, which is why Trump is polling as high as he currently is.
Trump is brash, and how well his business ventures could translate into Executive Branch acumen is up for debate.
But he is the antithesis of the typical political candidate that dithers or uses doublespeak to avoid having to take a stand on a subject before having a solid understanding of how the position will affect potential voters and contributors. Case in point: Hillary Clinton's latest dodge of a question regarding the Keystone Pipeline.
Why are those implied to be the only two options? How about someone who's honest and actually knows what they're talking about?
Donald Trump certainly isn't the first person to try to "shake up" politics by being "the last honest politician," that's actually a very old and time-tested political strategy. Does anyone really think there's no calculation behind what Donald Trump says and does? This isn't the first time he's run for president - he's not Mr. Smith going to Washington - he's a multi-billionaire businessman with deep political and media connections and interests. The man's political image is well constructed and orchestrated.
