Ask HN: Should countries be banning cloud computing operating systems?

In the current atmosphere of spying on everything coupled with cloud computing that only continues to get more invasive, should countries who are concerned about maintaining their competitive advantage in a global market be banning Google and Microsoft operating system products considering that these tools can be used to leak pretty much any corporate secrets the companies in the countries have? Or is it not the country's problem and they should leave that up to the private corporations to decide, even if the private corporations are simply concerned with cost cutting even if their secrets are at risk of being stolen? What about government corporations?
