Why are they obviously not hashing?
That's for sure. Pulling a figure out of thin air, but with an understanding of the cost of living (I live in the area), I'd say upper-middle begins at around $150+.
I've been a DO customer for about a year and some, this is news to me. So no, I wouldn't say it's public knowledge. That said, I haven't really destroyed many of my VMs.
In other words, Coinbase is going to supplement ~$13,950 loss with $50.
Any plans to open source it?
That's a drop in the bucket when you compare it to the 1.4 trillion spent funding the ~12 year war on terror. What I'm saying is I'd much rather see the money spent on healthcare.
