That's a bummer, actually. "filter(thing, None)" is far prettier than "[thing for thing in things if thing is not None]" :(
I would say Mozilla is backing Rust, and Google is responsible for a lot of Python's success.

little confused by their choices (simply 'move' to a different but similar cheap provider) why not diversify? I imagine they'd have fewer issues if they had a presence in multiple datacenters/providers
