I think you misunderstood my point. I'm not saying the price can't increase, I'm saying that dividing coins does not reduce scarcity. Edit: Updated my original comment, turns out I'm the one who misunderstood your…
Edit: After rereading the article, I now understand that you were referring to this quote in the article : "The circulation number is not enough". You are right, the fact that it's divisible render this point moot. I…
There is a purpose, but it's not HFT... It's orbital mechanics. You can't have efficient coverage of the whole planet without launching all of your satellites at fairly high inclination (>45°). There will be more…
If you are late to work because your car won't start, say a bad starter or a dead fuel pump, would you really tell your boss that your car had a "catastrophic" failure?
Was it a malfunction? Are you serious? The car decided to turn and hit a divider at 60mph without ever attempting to brake. The reason the driver is required to pay full attention is because the software malfunctions in…
I understand that, but it's not Spacex that lost the payload.
> Sources say the secretive Zuma satellite was lost by SpaceX > As of right now reviews of the data indicate Falcon 9 performed nominally Headline is in complete contradiction with the content of the article.
> Well, you are asking for perfect security. No need to read the rest of your comment. I'm not biting.

Amazon and people who have been hit by this seem to disagree with you: "Pricing is per instance-hour consumed for each instance, from the time an instance is launched until it is terminated or stopped. Each partial…
AWS charge by the hour, as soon as you power up an instance you are charged a full hour. If you start and stop one instance 60 time in an hour, you will be charged 60 hours. So scaling down on a dime and scalling right…
You are getting downvoted because you look like someone full of themselves. You admit you did nothing... and that your cofounder did everything... but you refuse to attribute the success of the startup to your cofounder…

SpaceX own the first stage. You pay to get your payload delivered to a specified orbit. You don't actually buy the rocket. It's like flying, you buy a ticket, not the plane.
The stage had lateral velocity when it landed plus it came down at an angle, so one or two legs took all the energy of the impact and collapsed. They are not designed to support a beating like that.
They are low profile since they can be folded against the body of a missile/rocket. They also have good aerodynamic properties at hypersonic speeds. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grid_fin for more info
