Altera MAX 10 evaluation board is probably one of the cheapest options. You use quartus prime lite to configure it which is free, and better than the equivalent Lattice tools.
What does race have anything to do with this? Unless you believe diversity somehow leads to insane laws....
I think it has its uses. For example its really handy when changing nappies as my toddler wriggles like crazy and it helps to distract him whilst I getting rid of the poo.
I'm not sure actually. There was a lot more attention to the second crash after it became apparent that Boeing had sold an unsafe aircraft.
This comment is factually wrong. The airlines did not pay compensation to victims families, Boeing did. Boeing accepted full responsibility for the crash, for providing an unsafe system. Ethiopian airlines did their…
I mean, they specifically targeted him first. It's not that he just didn't like Kim and thought he'd take him down a peg.

Maybe because trees contain a lot of water/nutrients? Tbh I've always wondered what you've said too, though I'd just dump the wood in old mines etc.
I'm puzzled at how breast cancer could be a political issue. How so?
Ah, you're totally right. I misread the OP. Sorry.
The way it works is that the entire assembly is in a vacuum. It kinda has to be as any gas which touches it will instantly condense to it or freeze to it. You then have a dual cryostat of liquid helium and liquid…
Not really. You just have the whole package instead a vacuum casing.
Thanks for the resource. I'm pretty sure I used it for some of my simulations of C60 molecules hexagonal packing, during my physics PhD a few years back.
I'm not sure if he's edited his post, but it is extremely rare for students to share rooms at any point of their university life. The closest thing we have is a shared study where two people have their own small…
I understand that completely. Feeling good about yourself for sticking it to the man doesn't support a family.
You're still providing a valuable service for free. Why can't everyone get paid?
I guess I'm wrong.
He's not going to reveal the name of his startup after admitting to copyright violations...
I have a PhD in physics. I have zero problem with anyone downloading any of my papers from scihub. My publishers paid me nothing, and also paid the academics who peer reviewed my paper nothing. If I had stayed in…
Probably not. You can't see Ir Lasers.
It was one of the pages that inspired me in my journey away from physics into electronic engineering. Such a cool piece of work.
That specification is to 2.5 micron accuracy. Surely the forging can't be made to that precision?
It's been a long time since I learnt this, so I may be misremembering, but superconductors have a current saturation limit. You can only pass so much current.
It's somewhat amusing to see the pilots in that thread criticise airbus for having computer systems that take control away from the pilot, given what we now know about MCAS.
There are a lot more technical jobs that require a degree than 3m software developers. There are dozens of different types of engineering and scientific domains apart from software development.
