My best guess is it will be similar to tractors and farming. 1 guy on a tractor does the work of a whole team of animals and men. But I don't think any commercial farm has ever gone down to 0 men, and I don't think they…
Never got involved. I think of bitcoin and all the crypto products the same way I think of baseball cards. The underlying asset is worthless cardboard. Value is pure speculation. Sure you make real money speculating,…
For work I use a laptop plugged into a docking station. External monitors, keyboard, mouse, speakers, webcam, etc. In practice it's a desktop in laptop form factor. I never work in a coffee shop. I never work on a…
It's a sad day. The end of an era.
Code by Charles Petzold. Greeat first book for anyone going down the techy path. Will fill in knowledge gaps missing from most new people.

He became Lord Voldemort. No one knows exactly what he did, but you don't dare even whisper his name.
Wide range of weights (light to bold). Iosevka did a good job of making paper thin to thick sumo. Sometimes I like to use a very dark theme and crank up the font size. Thick fonts become blinding light. So I need thin…
tab width = 3 It's big enough to clearly see indents. But small enough to preserve screen real estate. And no one needs to agree 3 is best because TAB.
Ditto. On an M1 mac mini since 2021. Cheap little machine. Chugs the typical web developer workload like a champ. I will try to get 10 years use out of it. 2031 will be time to evaluate the next machine.
