I'm surprised that it's even possible running big models locally. I agree we will see how this plays out but I hope models might start to become more efficient and it might not matter that much for certain things to run…
I can maintain basic code no issue but not if it becomes complex or security relevant. And I have worked in plenty of companies I'm the open source guy in these companies and me or my teams never had the capacity to do…
Just this week a library got deprecated. Open source of course. So what's my response to that deprecating? Maintaining it myself? Nope finding another library. You always depend on something...
I think 384gb of ram is surprisingly reasonable tbh. 200-300$/month are already 7k in 3 years. And I do expect some hardware chip based models in a few years like a GPU. AiPU we're you can replace the hardware ai chip.
We now have wall printers based on UV paint. 3D models can be generated quite well already. Good enough for a sculpture.
It's a no brainer I agree. What I hate is that I will not pay more than 20-50$ per month for side projects and that gap annoys me.
Are you good in math definitions or is this an opinion? For me a compressed model learning rules through statistics is not statistics anymore. Physic rules are not statistics.
I type fast. I don't think I could Mimik a LLM. But I'm prompting fast so that helps
You can actually have dementia without the symptoms if your interconnect is strong. Like knowing multiple languages/ multiple words for one thing.
The way the input doesn't match the output should imply that it's not just statistics. As soon as compression happens, optimization happens which can lead to rules/learning of principles which got feed by statistics.
Yes if course after all ML and LLM are not made out of brain. But do I really have to say colloquial?
We do the same thing. We have long term memory and short term. Context is short term. The still long and expensive training phase embeds the long term memory.
The AI hype also made voice to text and text to voice a lot better. It's not just chat. But I really enjoy the Claude or chatgpt chat UI. I'm not sure what your problem with that UI is tbh? I don't think there will be…
Don't compare Bitcoin and the Meta verse with ai. Millions of people use LLMs daily. Veo 3 just came out. People get fired due to LLMs and GenAI replacing them. Google uses ai code for years in the background. Playing…
We have nuclear weapons. We already achieved complete destruction potential. Drones don't change much. It's potentially better for us civilians if drones get used to attack a lot more targeted (think Putin). This should…
I didn't say yesterday. Nonetheless it took openai til Nov 2022 for 1 Million users. The overall awareness and breakthrough was probably not at 2020.
It's normally easy to find it ore configured through comfyui. Sometimes behind patreon if some YouTuber
Nope not marketing. I researched this topic myself. I'm not aware that Nvidia mentioned this. But hey it seems I can't convince you of my enthusiasm regarding ai. It's fine I still will play around with it often and…
I write docs often and what works wonders with LLM is good docs. A readme a architectural doc etc. Helps me to plan it well and the LLM to work a lot better
Someone wanted to fix block chains now we have one more problem XD Btw to add content: exchang between block chains is not a solved problem. Adding more doesn't help
But that's part of the human based reinforcement learning. It now just happens on a way bigger level because now it's actually worth while to do. That's one of the core beauties of the AI Ara

Probably made below 0 profit. The product seems easy to copy, 1000 is not much and even reading the article i didn't find the product online. Could mean a pipedream of people who don't know enough and were also willing…
These are two issues independent of each other. One argument doesn't make the other in any way worse or better I'm a German, I was not aware that VW was doing this until it came out and it was a huge blow out. Do you…
I tried it too and I know this test for a while. Not only did Claude respond correctly, I also wrote it in German. And I often switch between English and German for single words just because ai is already that good.…
