We have European Parliament elections every 5 years. But usually the people who complain the loudest also don't bother to vote.
Statistically, half of the people in this thread didn't even show up to vote for EP elections.

There are 2.5 BILLION Gmail accounts. If people cared about privacy they would have switched to it, irrespective of where it is hosted. We need to focus on making competitive services which are easy-to-use.
