I'd be interested in the demo!!
Yeah this is how I feel about it. Does it look correct? is it doing something weird? Is it forgetting about some gotcha in our domain that it hasn't been taught about yet? Otherwise, ship it.
Who determines what is "ethical"?
thankfully most of the mid-2010's I've driven haven't been bad
I think part of this acceptance of the "well if it saves one [usually child's] life..." - it's extremely powerful but is deceptive as it devalues the value of freedom (or some similar trait).
Are you talking about an old Honda or some issue with new Hondas?
Completely anecdotal (which i think both of us are guilty of) but i generally keep my PC game pass subscription active, and will check if games are on there before getting them elsewhere. I don’t really know how to…
Love this! Charming and easy to follow, thank you!
They are starting to ship this out across the country. My uncle has pancreatic cancer and is hoping to get a shipment in the next two months. Apparently you discontinue chemo while on it because it’s so unnecessary at…
Yeah tbf as someone who works in the industry, that sounds more like a ticket brokerage than what Ticketmaster / StubHub etc do (directly). I’ve learned from personal experience that ticket brokers will do some WILD…
Isn’t the burden of proof on the accuser?
The switch 2 is definitively more powerful than the steam deck and also supports DLSS.
Not all of us. Many are evolutionary or old earth creationists that generally don’t have an issue with many aspects of evolution.
“Empirically unprovable” and “fictional” are not synonymous.
Is there a way their question could have been phrased that would have not drawn you to make that assumption, which seems to be an ethos attack, or are you predisposed to reply in such a way about any philosophical…
It's actually pretty incredible for how well it runs and how good it looks on Switch. Focusing on a few FPS drops like this is really missing the forest for the trees.
Yes, it's amazing. The story is better, the dungeons are better, and the weapon durability is further reduced in impact due to continually finding new weapon attachments on enemies. And you are listing pretty much the…
Agreed 100%. I love Brave now, feels like you get all the benefits of Chrome with anti-Google/ad built in!
I keep seeing this comment that companies are making their millions 'off of open source libraries' and it's a catchy phrase but let's be real the big companies that are using faker JS are making an insignificant amount…
That is a frankly bigoted statement and one I'm use to seeing more on Reddit than HN. It is designed to be used voluntarily, or as parental controls for children. This is not $evilTechCompany coming to suck up all of…
So by your logic are you saying it'd be immoral for someone to provide an app or program that a user _specifically wants_ that tracks their device activity and shares it with a designated recipient? No one is forcing…
There's nothing immoral about it if the parent is up front with the child, the child knows the device is monitored. If they don't want to be monitored, then they don't get the device. I know for a fact once my kids are…
I think you're probably just not in the circles that do this. Christian men do this all the time, either with their wives as the 'accountability partner' or a male Christian friend. It might be your opinion that there's…
I get where you're coming from, but is the solution to simply not allow instant receiving of money? No one's being forced to use these apps.
Religion is something that you can control.
