Hi, I am a London based entrepreneur who dislikes that moniker, because while the description fits the Spinout enterprises from my company, I have been independent since 1996, and I only changed anything after my late co-founder tragically passed, the strongest reason against a general partnership being the possibility of Probate tying uo your capital and tax status. Use a Limited Partnership instead. I will advise- without any charge unless you require beyond my ability to deliver over a couple of pub meetings- the fullest extent of my experience of limiting the risk inherent in Partnership. YOU DO WANT TO KNOW about this almost shamefully optimal tax haven called the Limited Partnership Act of 1907.
