Things against Facebook rarely fail to rise to the top of HN. Anything not favoring Facebook gets up here quickly. Why am I surprised.
While i agree this is not productive, the primary stated goal for HN has nothing to do with productivity, but has to do with fulfilling one's curiosity and what hackers and makers find interesting.
Wow Quoc works at Google. Google keeps attracting all of these amazingly talented people. Also wonder if regular software engineers get to work with such people at Google.
