Agreed. It seems like a great deal of engineering distractions from the core problem to solve. Seems like they were using precious resources to fluff up a potential keynote and make a car from a scifi movie.
Oh it's definitely marketing. The author constantly uses possessive semantics when describing the work done. It's a neat idea, and I'd like a cheap electric LSA in the future, but that article was pointed right at VC.
Yeah we're used to it. It's just assumed that all racism is in the South, and all Southerners are racists. I believe "whipping boy" is the term.
