You think holding 200 shares out of 13 billion is being owner of capital? If you own your house, you can paint its walls black, put up a painting, or remove all the doors, can you do anything at all with the shares you…
The way I read it is not to be needed for normal functionality of the team, not to "not be needed" at all. Akin to a ship's captain - for the most part a ship works without a captain just fine, but that doesn't make the…
This comment is disingenuous. In everyday speech, people don’t carefully separate “the people” from “the state.” A French person talking about the U.S. usually says les Américains. A German talking about the French will…
I don’t want to argue with you. I just want to say I understand the pain in what you wrote replying to other people. Life can make people hard, but that doesn’t make your hurt any less real. You don’t owe anyone…
The board will not participate in the meeting, vocally.
I too thrive in that chaos.
You must be fun at parties... Some people do stuff just because it's fun, not to be the best of the best. If you only do something to be the best, why do anything at all?
Some IDEs have gotten slightly less frustrating with better processors: e.g. Xcode, which in my opinion deserves the star rating it has in the mac App Store
I’m in Europe, but the first thing I said to the renters of my Grandmother’s house was “here’s the keys, these are all the copies, but feel free to change the lock if it makes you feel more comfortable”. People need to…
Well, Apple is trying a 'do as I say, not as I do' approach, which isn't exactly working. For example I got an Apple Music notification the other day telling me how awesome the new Classic Music App is, or how the new…
I’m positive GP doesn’t write in their phone in more than one language.

If that’s the worst you think it can happen, you lack imagination. I Myanmar fingerprinting helped the military find dissidents, the the US Cambridge Analytica managed to get enough data to influence an election, and…
'Absence of evidence is not evidence os absence' is a mantra that was instilled in me when I was trying to figure out my uni undergraduate and went with history for a year. This was also a center point in…
I think any kind of career move, be it freelance, corporate or anything in between, has risks. You shouldn’t regret the decision you made if when you made them you used the best information available to you - no one can…
Wouldn't everything heavier than Iron be older? IIRC, gold for example is generated when stars go supernova, which implies all gold on Earth existed before the solar system formed.
And as a bonus it supports RSS
There’s other ways. Like iCloud - you can store something on a private container and it will persist in the users Apple ID
Because Apple doesn’t support Windows nor Android
Can you link to a public post of one such individual, which is also not connected to a publication?
I’ve used it referring to the ground level too. Others as well. Not common, but no one would wonder what you’d be talking about. It would be better to call it a terraço, but it would be neither here nor there.
Let me give my 2 cents as an EU citizen. The way I see it is a mix of all of that, but number 3 is the biggest. Twitter is not big here. There’s people who use it, sure, but there’s a reason you don’t see that many EU…
I’m exactly like you. In my personal opinion, dreams don’t matter, they’re just our brains doing whatever it needs to do to stay healthy.
That is a weird take. Just because people might want to use alternatives doesn’t force you to do the same. In the same vein, Google users can use multiple stores, but most just use Google Play.
